Hi ! You are still here. Glad to see you. Now, we are going to study sentences in present perfect tense that express things that have happened from the past until now.
Study this sentence: Diana has known Haerudin for five years. It means that Diana began to know Haerudin five years ago and now she still knows him.
We use for when we think of the length of a period of time:
... for two years ... for ten minutes ... for all my life
We use since when we think of a starting point in the past:
...since I was born ... since 1971 ... since Sunday
